AZ HB2630

Expands the definition of "election officer" from state, county, or municipal employees with election officer certificates to any individual assigned to perform official election duties, including election board members.

Allows election officers to request confidentiality protections for their personal information in county recorder, assessor, and treasurer records by filing an affidavit with the superior court.

Enables election officers to seal their voter registration records and identifying information from public access for five years upon court approval, with the same protections currently available to peace officers, judges, and prosecutors.

Makes it a class 5 felony to knowingly publish an election officer's personal information online if it poses an imminent and serious threat to their safety or their immediate family's safety.

Extends motor vehicle record and public record confidentiality provisions to election officers, protecting their home addresses, telephone numbers, and other identifying information from disclosure.
