AZ HB2700

Establishes the Technology First Study Committee with 15 members appointed by the Senate President and House Speaker, including representatives from the Department of Economic Security, Department of Education, AHCCCS, universities, disability advocacy groups, and individuals who use assistive technology.

Requires the committee to study assistive technology issues, analyze emerging technologies, identify potential changes, and determine how to better serve individuals with assistive technology needs.

Mandates the committee meet twice per year and submit a report with recommendations to the Governor and legislative leaders by October 1, 2027.

Provides expense reimbursement for certain appointed members (advocacy groups, technology users, parent advocates) but no compensation for any committee members.

The committee automatically repeals after October 1, 2027.
