Establishes that communications between sexual assault survivors and victim advocates are confidential and privileged, including information disclosed during medical examinations or law enforcement interviews.

Grants sexual assault survivors the right to consult with a victim advocate during medical examinations and interviews by peace officers, prosecutors, or defense attorneys, with this right retained even if previously waived.

Prohibits sexual assault kit evidence from being used to prosecute survivors for misdemeanor offenses or drug-related crimes, or as a basis to search for evidence of such unrelated offenses.

Requires law enforcement and medical providers to inform survivors of their rights through an Attorney General-developed document, including information about protection orders, crisis centers, compensation funds, and how to track forensic evidence analysis.

Entitles survivors to free copies of all law enforcement reports on written request and to have the courtroom cleared during testimony in civil or criminal trials upon request.
