AZ HB2818

Prohibits individuals from lobbying the Arizona legislature if they were paid employees of or received compensation from a candidate committee, political action committee, or independent expenditure committee during the one-year period immediately preceding the start of a regular legislative session.

Adds this restriction to existing prohibitions on lobbyists, which include bans on contingent fee arrangements, former legislators lobbying within one year of leaving office, and improper influence through employers.

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 41-1233 governing prohibited acts for lobbyists.
