Public bodies are prohibited from placing proposals to impose or increase any tax rate, assessment, or fee on a consent agenda for meetings.

Matters discussed in executive session that require a final vote or decision must be placed on the regular agenda and cannot be added to the consent agenda.

Executive sessions remain limited to specific purposes including personnel matters, confidential records, legal advice, contract negotiations, employee compensation negotiations, real property transactions, and security matters.

Minutes and discussions from executive sessions must be kept confidential, with exceptions for body members, affected employees, the auditor general, and investigating attorneys.
