Automatically restores voting rights to individuals with felony convictions upon release from imprisonment, eliminating the need to apply for restoration through the court system.

Suspends voting rights only during the actual term of imprisonment, rather than for the entire duration of a felony sentence including probation or parole.

Requires courts, probation departments, and the Arizona Department of Corrections to provide verbal and written notice to individuals about their restored voting rights upon release.

Amends voter registration qualifications to disqualify only those currently serving a term of imprisonment for a felony, rather than all persons with felony convictions who have not had rights restored.

Applies retroactively to individuals released from imprisonment after December 31, 2025.
