Arizona House Concurrent Memorial urges the State Board on Geographic and Historic Names to rename State Route 69, currently called "Black Canyon Highway," which runs from Interstate 17 to Prescott

State Route 69 was declared the first public road in Arizona territory in 1864 and was historically used by the U.S. Army as part of the route between Fort Whipple and Fort McDowell

The memorial requests dividing the highway into six equal sections, each named after veterans of a different conflict: World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, Desert Storm, and Iraq/Afghanistan Wars

The Secretary of State would transmit a copy of the memorial to the Chairperson of the State Board on Geographic and Historic Names if adopted
