Arizona Legislature applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention of states for proposing a constitutional amendment to limit terms for members of the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate

The application remains in effect until at least two-thirds of state legislatures submit applications on the same subject, as required to compel Congress to call a convention

The resolution specifically limits aggregation to applications from other states seeking congressional term limits and explicitly prohibits combining with applications on any other subject

The U.S. Supreme Court previously overruled term limit measures passed by Arizona and 22 other states through statutes or state constitutional amendments

The Secretary of State must transmit copies to Senate leadership, House leadership, Arizona's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures
