Yvonne Glee Lime Fedderson passed away on January 23, 2026 at age 90; she co-founded Childhelp with Sara O'Meara, a humanitarian organization that has aided more than 14 million children and families through abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment programs

Co-founded the first national 24-hour toll-free child abuse hotline and established the first U.S. residential treatment village for abused and severely neglected children, pioneering trauma-informed care standards

Opened Childhelp Children's Advocacy Centers in Arizona and Tennessee, and introduced the first mobile children's advocacy center in the country to reach rural and underserved communities

Launched Childhelp Speak Up, Be Safe, the first evidence-based child abuse prevention curriculum for preschool through grade twelve, and helped secure recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention Month

The Arizona Legislature expresses sympathy to Fedderson's family and directs the Secretary of State to transmit copies of this resolution to her family and to Childhelp
