Requires Arizona hospitals performing cardiac catheterization procedures with real-time x-ray imaging to equip at least 50% of those procedure rooms with radiation protection systems by July 1, 2027

Allows hospitals to meet the deadline by issuing a purchase order for the required systems by July 1, 2027, with installation completed by December 31, 2027

Defines "radiation protection system" as shielding that protects against scatter or direct ionizing radiation, provides protection equal to or greater than a .25 millimeter lead-equivalent apron, and includes real-time dosimetry to measure radiation exposure during procedures

Amends Title 36, chapter 4, article 2 of Arizona Revised Statutes by adding section 36-434.03 relating to health care institutions
