AZ SB1125

Requires the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) to make annual efforts to enter into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with each Indian tribe in Arizona that does not currently have one with the department.

Mandates that MOUs require DCS to share best practices, policies, training materials, and operational standards related to intake, investigations, child placement, case management, and service coordination.

Requires each MOU to identify a designated DCS tribal liaison assigned to the specific tribe to coordinate communication, provide technical assistance, and support collaboration on child welfare matters.

Establishes a process allowing tribes to access regulatory and licensing actions taken by DCS against any department-licensed group home where a tribal member child is placed, including corrective action plans, licensing sanctions, substantiated health and safety violations, and other regulatory actions.
