Candidates for state or local office who have already filed an annual financial disclosure statement as a public officer under Arizona law are no longer required to file a separate financial disclosure when submitting their nomination papers

The exemption applies immediately to statewide and legislative candidates upon the effective date, and extends to all other offices beginning January 1, 2027

Makes technical corrections throughout the statute, changing "no later than" to "not later than" in multiple provisions regarding filing deadlines

Candidates for partisan public office must be continuously registered with their political party from the date of their first petition signature through the general election date

Declared an emergency measure, making the law operative immediately upon passage
