Increases the maximum workers' compensation burial expense benefit from $5,000 to $10,000 for employees who die from work-related injuries

Maintains existing death benefit payment structure for surviving spouses (66⅔% of average monthly wage without children, 35% with children) and surviving children (31⅔% divided equally)

Preserves dependent parent benefits at 25% of average monthly wage if wholly dependent, with additional 15% for two surviving dependent parents

Keeps sibling benefits at 25-35% of average monthly wage for wholly dependent siblings under 18, or 15% divided among partially dependent siblings

Makes technical language updates throughout the statute, including changing "per cent" to "percent" and updating gendered pronouns to gender-neutral terms
