Prohibits health insurers from imposing cost sharing (deductibles, copayments, coinsurance) for preventative breast cancer screening and additional screening services effective January 1, 2027.

Covers diagnostic breast examinations used to evaluate abnormalities detected through screening or other means, including contrast enhanced mammography, diagnostic mammography, breast MRI, ultrasound, and molecular breast imaging.

Covers supplemental breast examinations for individuals with increased breast cancer risk factors, including personal or family medical history and heterogeneous or extremely dense breasts.

Applies to hospital service corporations, medical service corporations, health care services organizations, disability insurers, and group or blanket disability insurers issuing or renewing policies after January 1, 2027.

Requires examinations follow National Comprehensive Cancer Network Guidelines; for high deductible health plans, cost sharing prohibition applies after deductible is met unless services qualify as preventive under federal tax code.
