Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 38-904 regarding death benefits under the Corrections Officer Retirement Plan.

Makes a technical correction to clarify that "the pension of" a surviving minor or child with a disability shall be paid to the legally appointed guardian or custodian, rather than the previous phrasing referencing "child's pension."

Maintains existing provisions that allow pension payments to be made directly to eligible children once they reach eighteen years of age, provided they are not subject to guardianship or conservatorship.

Preserves the rule that a child's pension terminates upon adoption, or if a child with a disability ceases to be disabled or dependent on the surviving spouse or guardian.
