Appropriates $400,000 from the state general fund in fiscal year 2026-2027 to the Department of Education for distributing to public schools to plant low-biogenic volatile organic compound-emitting trees on school campuses

Prioritizes distribution until December 31, 2026 to schools where 75% or more of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunches under the national school lunch program, distributed on a first-come, first-served basis

Allows remaining undistributed funds after December 31, 2026 to be distributed to any public schools in the state on a first-come, first-served basis

Permits schools receiving funds to partner with nonprofit organizations to plant trees and allows the department to require recipient schools to report on their use of the funds

Exempts the appropriation from standard lapsing provisions under Arizona Revised Statutes section 35-190
