Requires insurance companies to review and respond to third-party settlement demands within 30 days of receipt.

The 30-day response period begins on the postmark date for mailed demands, or the date sent for demands submitted by email or fax.

Allows insurers to establish compliance with the deadline through competent evidence if disputes arise about timing.

Adds new section 20-243 to Arizona Revised Statutes governing the transaction of insurance business.
