Reduces the Arizona Space Commission board of directors from seven governor-appointed members to six, while maintaining three appointments each from the president of the senate and speaker of the house of representatives

Designates the lieutenant governor as a permanent member and chairperson of the board, eliminating the previous requirement for board members to elect their own chairperson

Adds the governor, president of the senate, and speaker of the house of representatives as nonvoting advisory members who do not count toward quorum requirements

Current board members serving on the effective date may complete their existing terms before new appointment rules apply

Takes effect December 31, 2026
