Membership associations receiving over 50% of annual revenue from dues paid with public monies by elected/appointed officials or their staff must publicly disclose all fees and membership costs on their website

If a public body votes to join a membership association but an official or staff member opts out, their assessed dues cannot be paid to the association by the public body

"Membership association" is defined as a nonprofit organization whose board majority consists of officers who support, advise, operate, control or supervise public entities in Arizona

Labor organizations are explicitly excluded from the definition of membership association under this bill
