Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 45-834.01 regarding recovery of stored water and recovery well permits within active management areas.

Establishes that if a recovery well permit applicant does not submit a separate hydrologic study, the director shall assume the recovery well is located within the area of impact of stored water if it is on land permitted as a groundwater savings facility or within one mile of specified water storage infrastructure.

Defines qualifying proximity as within one mile of either the exterior boundary of a constructed underground storage facility basin or the middle line of a drainage channel within a managed underground storage facility's storage area.

Makes technical corrections throughout the statute, changing "sub-basin" to "subbasin" for consistency in terminology.
