Requires law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies to review DNA match notifications within five business days and document investigative actions, case relevance, and closure decisions within sixty business days.

All law enforcement agencies submitting DNA evidence to accredited crime labs must participate in the system, with data access limited to authorized personnel and subject to state and federal privacy laws.

Requires the department to submit annual reports to the Governor and legislative leaders beginning December 31, 2027, detailing total DNA matches, notification response times, and system improvement recommendations.
