AZ SCR1022

Proposes a constitutional amendment to expand the Arizona House of Representatives from 60 members to 90 members, with one representative elected from each of 90 districts instead of the current two per district.

Maintains the Senate at 30 members, with each Senate district consisting of exactly three geographically separate House districts.

Requires the Independent Redistricting Commission to create 90 House districts and 30 Senate districts following the existing redistricting criteria including equal population, compactness, contiguity, and communities of interest.

Would take effect for legislative terms beginning in 2043 and later, with the measure to be submitted to voters at the next general election for approval.
