Extends peer review immunity protections to psychotherapy services and marriage and family therapists under California Civil Code Section 43.7

Provides that committee members reviewing the quality of psychotherapy or marriage and family therapy services cannot be held liable for damages if they act without malice, make reasonable efforts to obtain facts, and act with reasonable belief their actions are warranted

Adds psychotherapy and marriage and family therapy to the list of professional services eligible for peer review committee protections, alongside medical, dental, chiropractic, optometric, and other health-related services

Maintains existing requirements that peer review committees be composed chiefly of qualified professionals in their respective fields and that immunity protections only apply when committee members act in good faith

Does not confer immunity on the quality assurance committee or hospital itself, preserving legal accountability for the organizations conducting peer review
