Requires licensed architects to complete coursework on disability access requirements as a condition of license renewal, with hours increasing from 1 hour (July 2009-December 2010) to 2.5 hours (January 2010-December 2010) to 5 hours within two years (January 2011 onwards).

Coursework must cover the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, state accessibility laws, and federal/state regulations, taught by trainers with expertise in these requirements.

Authorizes the California Architects Board to audit licensee records and requires the board to audit at least 3% of license renewals annually until January 1, 2015 to verify coursework completion.

Beginning with the 2013 license renewal cycle, licensees only need to provide course documentation to the board upon audit rather than with every renewal application.

Board must submit a report to the Legislature by January 1, 2019 on licensee compliance rates, disciplinary actions, audit findings, and recommendations for improvement.
