Permits employees of temporary services employers providing specified health care services (home health agencies, hospices, and home care employers) to be paid semimonthly instead of weekly.

Maintains existing requirement that most temporary services workers be paid weekly, with exceptions for day-to-day assignments and trade dispute work.

Defines "temporary services employer" as entities that negotiate client contracts, assign workers, set pay rates, hire and terminate staff, and pay from their own accounts.

Exempts nonprofit organizations, farm labor contractors, and garment manufacturing employers from temporary services employer classification.

Takes effect immediately as an urgency statute to promote efficient delivery of health care services and timely wage payments.
