Requires removal of elected or appointed officials' home addresses and telephone numbers from internet and cellular telephone applications within 48 hours of written demand, with prohibition on reposting on any website maintained by the recipient.

Expands definition of "public safety official" to include retired members of peace officers, corrections employees, probation officers, and other law enforcement personnel, making violations of disclosure requirements a misdemeanor or felony.

Allows county elections officials to keep personal information of public safety officers confidential upon application and county board of supervisors adoption of such policy.

Permits officials whose addresses or telephone numbers are posted in violation to seek injunctive relief and recover court costs and attorney's fees, with fines up to $1,000 for violating court orders.

Excludes reimbursement requirements for costs related to creating new crimes or changing crime definitions, but allows reimbursement if Commission on State Mandates finds other state-mandated costs.
