Establishes workers' compensation coverage for hospital employees providing direct patient care in acute care hospitals who develop blood-borne infectious diseases, neck or back impairments, MRSA, or H1N1 influenza during employment.

Creates a rebuttable presumption that these conditions arise out of and in the course of employment, shifting the burden to employers to prove otherwise.

Extends blood-borne infectious disease presumption coverage for 180 days following employment termination.

Extends neck or back impairment and MRSA/H1N1 presumption coverage for 90 days following employment termination.

Provides full workers' compensation benefits including hospital care, surgical treatment, medical treatment, disability indemnity, and death benefits for covered conditions.
