Extends the cancer presumption period for firefighters and peace officers following termination of service from a maximum of 60 months to a maximum of 120 months.

Maintains the calculation of 3 calendar months of coverage for each full year of service, but removes the 60-month cap and replaces it with a 120-month cap.

Applies the extended presumption period to active firefighting members of state and local fire departments, peace officers engaged in law enforcement, and fire and rescue services coordinators with the Office of Emergency Services.

Retains the requirement that members must demonstrate exposure to a known carcinogen while in service and that the carcinogen is reasonably linked to the disabling cancer.

Names the legislation the William Dallas Jones Cancer Presumption Act of 2010; approved by the Governor on September 30, 2010.
