Requires the Department of Housing and Community Development to establish the Accessible Housing Task Force with representatives from state agencies and organizations including disability advocates, housing industry groups, and transit associations.

Mandates the task force to submit a report to the Legislature by June 30, 2012, with recommendations on identifying accessible multifamily units, encouraging construction of accessible housing within one-half mile of transit stations, and improving accessibility standards for new and existing dwelling units.

Directs the task force to recommend voluntary design options, possible building code revisions, local incentives, and statutory changes to improve accessibility of housing near transit stations and bus hubs.

Limits funding and implementation to amounts available from local, regional, federal, or private sources, with task force expenses to be covered through in-kind services to the maximum extent possible.

Removes original provisions regarding discrimination standards for multistory dwelling units near transit stations that were in the bill's initial version.
