Telephone corporations must post on their Internet website by January 1, 2012, and each January 1 thereafter, information about customer call centers that receive calls from California customers.

Posted information must include the location of each call center and the number of telephone calls received by each call center from California customers.

Removes previous requirements for call centers to disclose location information upon customer request and to route calls from out-of-state or international call centers to in-state or domestic locations.

Eliminates commission authority to investigate consumer complaints about call center compliance and removes reporting requirements to legislative policy committees.
