Exempts historic playgrounds from requirements to replace equipment or modify components to conform to American Society for Testing and Materials and United States Consumer Product Safety Commission standards

Historic qualified playgrounds become subject to alternative standards and regulations adopted by the State Historical Building Safety Board instead

Applies to structures, places, locations, or sites deemed to have historical or cultural significance under the Health and Safety Code
