Defines "injury" for hospital employees to include blood-borne infectious diseases, neck or back impairment, and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) that develop or manifest during employment.

Creates a rebuttable presumption that these conditions arise out of and in the course of employment, placing the burden on employers to provide contrary evidence.

Extends the blood-borne infectious disease and neck or back impairment presumptions for up to 60 months following termination of service (three calendar months per full year of service).

Extends the MRSA presumption for 90 days following termination of service.

Requires compensation to include full hospital, surgical, medical treatment, disability indemnity, and death benefits under existing workers' compensation law.
