Recognizes that Latino students represent the largest minority student demographic in U.S. public schools since 1998

Notes that Latino students face challenges including high dropout rates, low achievement test scores, low college enrollment rates, and attend schools with fewer resources and staffing

Acknowledges that California State University, San Bernardino's College of Education hosted the inaugural Latino Education and Advocacy Week summit beginning March 29, 2010

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to the author for distribution
