Acknowledges the Williamson Act's protection of over 16.5 million acres, representing nearly one-third of all privately owned land in California

Highlights the Act's role in food security, agricultural support industries, open-space preservation, wildlife habitat protection, and watershed protection while generating nearly $100 billion in agricultural economy value and approximately 500,000 jobs

Recognizes the program's effectiveness in facilitating intergenerational transfer of agricultural enterprises to young farmers and ranchers through cost-effective, incentive-based land conservation contracts

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to the author for appropriate distribution
