Requests Congress to pass House Resolution 5879 to authorize the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to allow burial in national cemeteries for individuals who served in combat support of U.S. Armed Services in Laos from 1961 to 1975

Recognizes Hmong soldiers recruited by the CIA during the Secret War in Laos who fought alongside American troops against communist forces and interdicted supply convoys on the Ho Chi Minh Trail

Acknowledges that many Hmong soldiers died in service and that approximately 130,000 ethnic Hmong immigrated to the United States as political refugees following the 1975 communist takeover of Laos

Directs the California Assembly Chief Clerk to transmit copies of the resolution to the President, Vice President, Congressional leadership, and California's representatives in Congress
