Proclaims August 2010 as Invasive Plant Pest and Disease Awareness Month in California

Recognizes invasive species as a serious threat to California's agriculture, natural habitats, economy, and public health

Acknowledges the Invasive Species Council of California (ISCC) and California Invasive Species Advisory Committee (CISAC) as coordinating bodies across multiple state agencies to address invasive species

Encourages all Californians to become aware of and take action to address the threat posed by invasive species

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to legislators and the bill's author for distribution
