SB 1003 Summary

• Amends Section 1010 of the Military and Veterans Code to update the definition of "home" to include the Veterans' Home of California locations in Chula Vista, Lancaster, and Ventura, in addition to the existing Yountville and Barstow locations.

• Expands the definition of "Administrator" to specifically name administrators for each of the five Veterans' Home locations: Yountville, Barstow, Chula Vista, Lancaster, and Ventura.

• Requires no appropriation and is not subject to fiscal committee review or a state-mandated local program.
