• Expands drug offense sentencing enhancements by expanding lists of qualifying prior drug convictions subject to consecutive 3-year terms of imprisonment.

• Requires probation departments to perform SARATSO sex offender risk assessments on all eligible persons prior to sentencing, regardless of whether a probation report is prepared, and mandates submission of assessment results to the Department of Justice High Risk Sex Offender Program.

• Establishes the High Risk Sex Offender Program in the Department of Justice to receive Facts of Offense Sheets and use SARATSO scores to identify, assess, monitor, and contain sex offenders at high risk of reoffending.

• Clarifies that pimping and pandering sentencing statutes apply different penalty tiers based on victim age: 16 years or older receives lower penalties than victims under 16 years of age.

• Extends firearm possession prohibitions under protective orders to include orders issued by postsecondary educational institution officers for students with credible threats of violence.
