Restricts beverages sold to elementary school pupils at all times to water, milk, and fruit or vegetable-based drinks with no added sweeteners.

Limits beverages sold to middle and high school pupils from one-half hour before school start through one-half hour after school end to water, milk, and fruit or vegetable-based drinks with no added sweeteners.

Permits electrolyte replacement beverages containing no more than 42 grams of added sweetener per 20-ounce serving to be sold to middle and high school pupils only outside the restricted time periods (before one-half hour before school or after one-half hour after school).

Allows schools to sell non-compliant beverages during school fundraising events and school-sponsored events held at least one-half hour after the schoolday ends.

Takes effect July 1, 2011, replacing an earlier version of the beverage restrictions that would have become inoperative on that date.
