Authorizes school districts to provide age-appropriate teen dating violence prevention education in grades 7-12 as part of sexual health and health education programs, using either district personnel or trained outside consultants.

Requires instruction and materials to cover healthy relationships, recognition of dating violence (including verbal, physical, sexual, cyber, and stalking), and information about legal, medical, and mental health services.

Mandates instruction meet criteria including medical accuracy, accessibility for English learners and students with disabilities, age-appropriateness, and avoidance of religious doctrine or bias.

Grants parents and guardians the right to excuse their child from all or part of teen dating violence prevention education and related assessments through written request, with alternative educational activities provided during instruction.

Requires the State Board of Education to incorporate teen dating violence and sexual violence curriculum into the health curriculum framework at its next revision, consulting with public health, law enforcement, and domestic violence advocates.
