Amends Section 2699 of the Labor Code to modify notification requirements when employees settle Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) lawsuits.

Requires parties to serve a copy of the court's final approval order and settlement agreement to the Labor and Workforce Development Agency within 20 days after the order is made and settlement becomes final, rather than providing advance notice before filing.

Maintains existing penalty distribution: 75% to the Labor and Workforce Development Agency for enforcement and education, and 25% to aggrieved employees (100% to agency for employers with no employees).

Declares the act an urgency statute to take effect immediately, citing California's economic conditions and job creation.
