Designates September 25, 2010, as Eunice Kennedy Shriver Day in California to honor the founder of Special Olympics and advocate for people with intellectual disabilities.

Urges individuals and families to contact local Special Olympics programs or visit www.eksday.org to participate in celebrating Eunice Kennedy Shriver's legacy.

Encourages Californians to perform "Eunice Kennedy Shriver Acts" of inclusion and acceptance, such as inviting people with intellectual disabilities to lunch, volunteering in special education classrooms, or becoming Special Olympics coaches.

Recognizes Shriver's 50-year career as an international advocate whose movement has transformed lives in over 170 countries and helped change perceptions of people with intellectual disabilities.
