Designates Friday, May 7, 2010, as California Peace Officers' Memorial Day to honor peace officers who have died in the line of duty.

Recognizes six California peace officers killed in 2009, including officers from Oakland Police Department (4), Tulare County Sheriff's Department (1), and Modesto Police Department (1).

Recognizes four peace officers killed in prior years but not previously enrolled: officers from Anaheim, Vernon, Union Pacific Railroad Police, and Glenn County with end of watch dates ranging from 1872 to 1951.

Urges all Californians to use the memorial day to remember fallen officers and express appreciation to those currently serving in law enforcement.
