Defines "linked learning programs" as multiyear comprehensive high school programs integrating academic and technical study organized around themes, interest areas, or industry sectors that meet University of California and California State University admission requirements.

Authorizes the Commission on Teacher Credentialing to convene a workgroup to develop program standards for issuing a "recognition of study in linked learning" to single subject teaching credential holders teaching in linked learning programs.

Requires workgroup membership to include representatives from teacher preparation programs, school districts, the business community, career technical education teachers, regional occupational centers, and other appropriate organizations.

Specifies that recognition of study in linked learning is not an authorization, cannot be used as a condition of employment, does not replace subject matter competence requirements, and cannot be used in reduction-in-force employment decisions.

Encourages teacher preparation institutions and Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment programs to increase preparation and support for teachers in linked learning programs, and authorizes the commission to post best practices on curriculum and professional development related to multiple pathway programs.
