Repeals Chapter 1.5 (commencing with Section 12095) of Part 2 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code, which established the California Commission on Industrial Innovation within the office of the Governor.

Eliminates the Commission's duties to identify financing means for innovative industry, hold hearings on findings, and carry out related specified duties.

Makes a conforming amendment to Section 13996.55 of the Government Code regarding international trade and investment strategy requirements.

Approved by the Governor on July 24, 2012, and chaptered as Chapter 164.
