Requires all contracts for the sale of residential real property entered into on or after July 1, 2013, to contain a notice regarding gas and hazardous liquid transmission pipelines in not less than 8-point type.

Notice must inform buyers that information about transmission pipeline locations is available through the National Pipeline Mapping System (NPMS) Internet website maintained by the U.S. Department of Transportation at http://www.npms.phmsa.dot.gov/.

Sellers and brokers are not required to provide information beyond what is contained in the notice once it is delivered to the buyer.

Clarifies that the requirement does not alter any existing duties of sellers or brokers under other statutes or laws, including disclosure requirements under California Civil Code.
