Maintains requirements for firefighter endorsement eligibility, including proof of employment or volunteer registration with a fire department and completion of Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator 1A training meeting NFPA 1002 standards.

Permits operation of firefighting equipment by drivers holding either a firefighter endorsement with a class C license or a class A/B license, depending on equipment size and configuration.

Eliminates additional fees for adding or renewing a firefighter endorsement on an original license; charges only a duplicate license fee when adding endorsement to an existing license outside of renewal.
