Legislative Analyst's Office must conduct a study evaluating compensation of chancellors and presidents at California Community Colleges districts and campuses, including salary sources and historical compensation changes.

Study must document how frequently community college hiring processes are opened, closed, or extended due to lack of applicants.

Compensation for purposes of the study includes salary, bonuses, vehicle allowance, and housing allowance.

Legislative Analyst's Office must report findings to the Assembly Committee on Higher Education and Senate Committee on Education by January 1, 2014.
