Requires publishers and manufacturers submitting printed instructional materials for adoption by the State Board of Education or school district governing boards to also provide an equivalent digital format version.

Digital format materials must be available throughout the entire term of the adoption period.

Applies to instructional materials submitted for adoption in kindergarten through grade 8 and high schools.

Bill becomes operative only if Senate Bill 1154 of the 2011-12 Regular Session is also enacted and takes effect.
