Prohibits community college districts from assigning full-time faculty members workloads exceeding 50% of a full-time workload in overload or extra assignments per semester or quarter, effective January 1, 2013

Exempts summer and intersession terms from the 50% overload limitation

Does not override collective bargaining agreements with more stringent restrictions on overload assignments

Delays implementation to January 1, 2014 for districts with existing collective bargaining agreements prohibiting overloads exceeding 50% as of January 1, 2013

Applies the workload limitation to supervisory or managerial personnel performing faculty work under applicable collective bargaining agreements
